About ProperEdits

Editor-in-Chief's Corner

Who is ProperEdits? Me. My name is Tiffany Draper. I have been an editor for over ten years. I have a Master’s Degree in English with a Professional Writing Certificate from Northern Arizona University. I also have a PhD in Instructional Design and Technology from Liberty University. I’ve taught many years of English composition and journalism courses at the university and high school levels. I’ve edited novels, dissertations, resumes, cover letters, essays, marketing material and advertisements, and every other document that has crossed my desktop. I really like editing. In fact, I nerd-out over it. It’s like solving a puzzle.

You’re still reading? I’m married to the love of my life, and we have four amazing children. We also have three adorable labradoodles.

More? My current goal is to surpass my son’s high score on the FunHouse pinball machine in our basement–the best compulsive purchase I’ve made so far in my life.
